12mm AS30 UHMWPE – Yellow

AS48 UHMWPE is one of the two high quality UHMWPE ranges we supply. We choose AS30 because, unlike many alternatives on the market, it is manufactured to specific specifications and manufactured to a high standard. Many other options don’t meet clear standards, making it harder to know how the rope will perform, and whether it is what it says it is. With AS30, you can rely on predictable performance, and the assurance that it is produced to a high standard, giving you confidence in both its quality and reliability.

The key specification that defines AS30 UHMWPE is its stretch. Ropes up to 16mm have 3.0% stretch at break load. In terms of strength, AS30 is comparable to SK90 Dyneema, offering similar performance with slightly more stretch.

All our AS30 UHMWPE ropes are finished with a polyurethane coating that binds and protects the individual yarns and filaments, enhancing abrasion resistance, improving UV protection, improving durability and extending the rope’s lifespan.

UHMWPE ropes are used across a wide range of industries including marine, commercial, industrial and 4×4. They are commonly made into soft shackles, grommets, towlines, winch ropes, hauling lines, recovery lines and more.
